The Alabama Forestry Association's Chris Erwin will teach a very informative Project Learning Tree Class on July 29th for teachers, administrators and Master Gardeners.
Participants will learn about forestry, natural resources, the environment and implementing hands-on techniques for teaching their students.
At the end of the day, the class will be certified and able to apply for future PLT Classroom Grants.
Tuition is only $10, includes lunch and a $40 classroom resources kit.
The class will be sponsored primarily by an Alabama State Department of Education grant, the Forestry Associations and the AGITC.
