The Alabama Green Industry Training Center, with the help of forty partners and sponsors recently produced the Alabama Spring Fest at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.Hundreds of school children from Bessemer, Birmingham and Jefferson County schools were given a fun, educational forestry and environmental fieldtrip.
Each child received an Alabama Forests Forever Activity Book, event T-shirt and lunch, while every classroom was given a 55 book class library.
